Class of 1972 - Larry J. Hildebrand

After high school, I went to Ohio Northern University and studied pharmacy, graduating from there in 1977. I worked for a brief period for Super X drug chain, and then came down to Marengo. I went to work for Jerry Tshchudi, our old principal, and Pete Harritos who owned Asman Drugs. After working for a couple of years with them, I purchased Marengo Drugs in 1981, and have been in Marengo ever since. We are currently doing business as YOURx STORE in Marengo. For fun, I enjoy camping and hiking. I have had two sons in Boys Scouts and usually spend one week each summer out to scout camp with them. I also enjoy traveling for the business. For recreation I like to walk and lift weights trying to beat back time a little. I met my wife, Sharon, here in Marengo, and we married in 1981. We have three children. John, 19, is a freshman in education at Bowling Green University. He has been active in theatre both here at school and with Mt. Vernon Players and continues to be active in theatre at Bowling Green. James, 16, is a sophomore at Highland. He is our sports fanatic. He has started as varsity center for the past two years and plays baseball. I look up to both boys since they are both over 6 feet, not like me. Our only daughter, Sarah, 14, is in 8th grade at Highland. She enjoys dance, gymnastics, and piano, and is an 8th grade cheerleader. Needless to say we do lots and lots of running with them. I can hardly believe it has been 30 years since we graduated. It has flown by so fast. I look forward to hearing from you all and renewing old friendships.
