I am currently Principal of Escuela Bella Vista, in Maracaibo, Venezuela (2
years). I lived in Iran (2 years), Saudi Arabia (5 years), and Kazakhstan (1
year), where I was the director of school. In between I lived
in Alaska (13 years) in several different villages. I was in Mt. Gilead 1
year while teaching and coaching football at Sunbury in 1983. My oldest son,
Travis was born in Saudi Arabia, my youngest son Garrett, in Mt. Gilead. I
received my B.S. from Bowling Green State University, M.S. from the
University of Alaska, Juneau, and I am currently in the Doctoral Program at
Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington.
My wife, Nancy and I have been married for 22 years. we refer to Whidbey
Island in Puget Sound, north of Seattle as "home" when we are in the United
States.

Things got to hot for me in Venezuela, so I
decided to go north for awhile to cool off.
I am currently Assistant Superintendent of
Northwest Arctic Borough School District.
